anyone know how to contact Brandon other than the "contact us" page on warbonnet's site? Sorry to jack the thread, not my intention. This thread is very timely as I've been looking for a good tarp, but I only want to buy one. There's rain in the forcast for the week I'm camping and that sealed the deal for me on doors vs no doors on my fly.

I keep a small spreadsheet on most mfg specs it's kind of fun.

You'd think with all the talking up the SF I'd have one but I don't.
My go to tarp is a used TtTTG 12x10 I bought used here for $80 and had 2QZQ put 1 set of doors on.

The Superfly has been my favorite tarp for years and I didn't buy one till just this year.

If I had to get rid of all my tarps but one, it would be the HG winter palace but that's not to say it's my "go to" or favorite tarp.

As always the answer to these types of questions greatly depends on what someone's needs are.

Thanks O&B for the nice stats, it's amazing how similar the offerings are.

My MacCat Deluxe arrived today in the mail! Haven't had a chance to pitch it yet, but it was my choice at 12.9 ozs...

This is the conclusion I came to. So for now, its Clouburst with a pair of GrizzBeaks...flexibility, and a ton of room when needed. Remains to be seen if its the one to rule them all.
Matter of fact, I still thinkPU tarps have their place.

The Superfly is here. This thing should be great for most any weather.

Im always surprised at the weight people are willing to cary, but I'm a UL (maybe SUL).
Also, I thought the OES MacCat would have a larger presence here, especially since the price to quality ratio seems unbeatable, especially with all the size options (no doors though...).

If I could only have one tarp, I want a big cuben rig with fold-back doors. You could use that for ground camping as well.

I have a birthday coming up soon
