    JRB Hex or WB Edge?

I'm new to hammocking and need your opinions...
I have an Eno setup currently, but am looking to upgrade to WBBB XLC. I gather the superfly is the tarp of choice for many, i'd rather go with something a bit smaller/lighter to start out. May get a more robust tarp for winter next year. I'm not sure I want to purchase a Cuban tarp just yet.
I have two tarps in mind and can get them for the same price. Which would you prefer, or is there one I'm missing that's cheaper, lighter etc. In The same price range? I think I want side pullouts for sure, that eliminates some of the cheaper options I've seen. Anyway I'll get to the point..

    JRB Hex Tarp
    11'x8'
    12.8oz
    1.1 silicone impregnated ripstop nylon

    WB Edge
    11'x7'10"
    11.25oz
    1.1/30denier 2000mm never mist silnylon.

Is this the same material? Any thoughts certainly appreciated..
Seems to me WB is only 2" shorter, but 1.5 oz lighter

    Thanks in advance,
    Turtle

Sil-nylon absorbs water from the air and from rain. It changes weight as this happens. It also stretches. It is stretchy stuff. I would not put much credence to the slight differences in the weights and sizes of these two products. I would view them as pretty much the same size and weight.

Sorry dont mean to sound like a dummy but so is the jrb rip stop a better option?
I agree neither size nor weight are a big enough difference to make a big difference to me.

Guess I'm still unsure if these materials are different or basically the same...

    Thanks,
    Turtle

I don't know if silicone impregnated nylon is the same as silnylon??
