    Cuben fiber hammock?

Not sure if this has been discussed before, I was wondering why there aren't CF hammocks?

Vapor barrier issues, it rips to easily to use a light weight variety, so you might as well use a lightweight nylon.

I made one, it was really hard. Very uncomfortable and when I undid the whipping it was almost torn through without ever spending the entire night in it.
    Peace Dutch

Was it uncomfortable due to the cuben not stretching, or some other reason?

I made an insulated cuben fiber hammock also, but decided to turn it into an underquilt to use with other hammocks. The lack of stretch is the problem.

I have only seen cuben fiber tarps, what are the advantage of Cuben Fiber in comparison to other materials.

To save weight, and because its seethroughness is cool

Crazy light. Totally waterproof. No misting. No stretch.
