Thanks for the heads up, GoPro. I'm looking to make my first DIY hammock. Which size should I buy for this? I am 5"11. And it's crinkle taffeta I want, right?

Most folks are going with a 11ft hammock, crinkle taffeta is what I bought in the past.

Crap I would have never even seen this, Thanks a lot for the share, I was thinking about doing DIY for a while now but after seeing this deal going on, It couldn't hurt just to buy some crinkle taffeta and experiment.

You're welcome. I'm 6'2 and picked up two of the 60x126 (10.5 ft) to try for backpacking and another 90x132 for day hiking with a female friend. I've heard the standard is to add 4-6 ft to your height. If you are just car camping or in your backyard, go with at least a 90x132. If you're backpacking the 60x126 is for you.

And yes you want crinkle taffeta.

No problem. Glad to be useful once and a while. And yes I planned to do the same. Bought 3 blanks and an organza runner to experiment with.
