New hammock style???

So I found this website called www.diygearsupply.com and I saw this hammock. Does anybody have an idea on how i could make it? Im thinking just a rectangular gathered end body, with a square-ish bugnet attached to some triangles of fabric on the fixed ridgeline. This looks appealing to me, because I could sleep in it either way diagonally. The 4 tie out points would be nice for a feeling of extra spance in the hammock. Here it is.

Questions:

1. What fabric to make this out of?

2.Average price range to complete?

3.Lastly, how big should the initial fabric be?

If any of you can help me out with these questions, that would be great. Thank you all.

.....and go to the bug netting section under the diy tab on Scott's site and it shows the bug net portion. What you see in the picture is the bug net as shown in the diy, with end sections of nylon instead of just all netting.
Then head over to papa smurf/Dream Hammock. There is a nice fabric weight / hanger weight / comfort chart that can help you decide on the number of layers and fabric weight.
Then come back here and continue to ask as many questions as you need to.
