Two of my friends picked up the netted version last year. Not bad at all for a new hanger. You'd definitely want to pick up some whoopie slings and tree straps, though. And they come with s-hooks, so probably replace those with carabiners or toggles.
That's better than the woot.com deal of this same product since you get free shipping from amazon, but woot charges $5
When I bought the netted one off Woot it was $25 plus the $5 shipping (and I added a few more things because everything ships for $5) so I wouldn't call it a better deal.
WARNING: The netted version is only 8.5 feet long. If you are very short (e.g. kids) it may work for you but for a regular adult will feel very cramped.
I picked up the non-netted version today (only because the netted one was gone), any suggestions on netting to go along with it?
If you're any good (or even just passable) with a sewing machine, you could make a Fronkey style bug sock. Do a quick search of the forums, it won't be hard to find. Otherwise, some vendors offer them. I don't currently have them listed as an option on our site, but it's a custom item that I'm quite capable of. I know dream-hammock also offers them. Feel free to shoot me a PM if you're interested, or send an email via our site (listed in my signature).
