Hey everyone!
So i've always used a tent for camping/outdoors but a recent invite to a medical mission trip is requiring me to purchase a hammock. That being said it has kind of sparked my interest in doing more hammock camping and what not. So being a college student as well, I was looking for something that is of decent quality for a decent price. The only requirement is that the hammock has a bug net (prefer built in since from my own personal research getting the 2 separately can be more costly and add more weight).
Getting down to it, the one that was recommended by the organization i am going with is
http://www.amazon.com/Byer-of-Maine-...pr_product_top
Looking deeper into it i have also found
http://www.amazon.com/Grand-Trunk-Sk...er+pro+hammock
and
http://www.amazon.com/ProForce-Jungl...jungle+hammock
I kind of like the grand trunk tbh. I was hoping to get something that I can use more than once so i didn't really want to get anything THAT cheap. Anyways I was hoping to hear what everyone thinks? Also do you recommend the cables that are used to hang it up with? I'm unfamiliar with the terms (i think it's called the suspension). I keep hearing everyone talking about whoopie slings because they are lighter etc. Thank you in advance for your recommendations!
