I don't fit any of the choices. I go with others but also go solo at times.
I may be slow... But I sure am gimpy.

Honestly I get too freaked out. Childhood fear is still alive and stong in me. Plus for Safety my wife won't let me hike alone until I get a Spot.

I do solo trips. I prefer to go with someone, though.

I need to start doing more solo trips. Only real way to relax.

I don't fit the choices either... I do both, solo and with others.

Solo sometimes, not by choice. So I go solo sometimes. That's not on poll.

I picked solo. Once in a blue moon, my daughter will come with me, but I've been a solo backpacker for pushing 30 years now.

If I haven't been out for a while, I usually get the willies (a bit) the first night out, getting used to it again. After that, it feels like home!
