I tried to get my wife into using a hammock last year, so I bought her the same one that I have. She has never spent a night in it. I have set it up a couple of times, but have not used it. The hammock retails for $359.90 with the extra pair of snakeskins. The Whoopie Slings items (Whoopie Slings, toggles, adjustable structural ridgeline, single line tarp line, and SMC descending rings) retail for $66.20. Total retail value $426.10. I will sell everything listed for $350.00. The details of the hammock follow:
1. Hammock
Hennessey Hammock - Deep Jungle Asym Zip XL. I replaced the default ridge line with a Whoopie Slings Adjustable Structural Ridge Line. The hammock includes the Whoopie Slings Adjustable Structural Ridge Line, and a set of Hennessey Hammock Snake Skins.
2. Fly
Hennessey Hammock - Explorer Ultralite Rainfly 30D Silnylon. The rainfly includes a Whoopie Slings Single Line Tarp Ridge Line, and a set of Hennessey Hammock Snake Skins.
3. Suspension
I replaced the default suspension system that came with the hammock, and installed Whoopie Slings. The Whoopie Slings are color coded to distinguish the head from the foot end of the hammock. The head is silver, and the foot is black. I attached a Whoopie Slings Continuous 17 1/2” Loop to the hammock. A SMC Descending Ring is used to attach the Whoopie Slings Continuous Loop to the Whoopie Slings, and act as a drip ring. Both the Continuous Loop and the Whoopie Slings are attached to the SMC descending ring with a larks head knot. The Whoopie Slings are 6’-0” in length. The suspension system includes a set of Whoopie Slings Toggles, and a set of Hennessey Hammock Tree Huggers.
