    Lightweight Fire resistant/proof fabric

Is there such a thing? Does anyone know where I could get some?

I don't know how lightweight it is, but Turk has a prototype hammock hut from JRB that made to be used with a small stove. You may check out the review for useful info.

give me an idea of what you want to do with the fabric and I may be able to offer some advice. There is a HUGE grey area between "fire resistant" and "fire proof".

I have always wanted a teepee. I have finally figured out how to make them. I want to make it out of Sil-nylon and either line the top half with a fire proof (preferably) or just make the top half solely out of fire proof fabric. I want to be able to build a small fire inside without a stove. I'm just kicking this around and it may not work but I want to at least look at it.
