    Troubles with OES

Hi to everyone, I really hate to post my displeasure on the forum, but I can not get any response from Brian at OES. I have written several emails and I have yet to hear. If someone on here knows how to contact him via telephone, I would appreciate some help. Below is the last email I sent. Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated. I know I may be out of the product I ordered from a vendor on this forum, but I also want to thank this forum list for the enjoyable reading, bantering and all the gteat information I have gleaned.

    Thanks

    Rich

Brian, You have never replied to any of my messages. I feel that you have cheated me on my purchase. I ordered a McCat Ultra and received a silnylon cat cut tarp. I ordered over the Thanksgiving Black Friday sale period. Please respond to me so that we can work this out and I become a satisfied customer. Otherwise I will have to take to the forum and cyberspace. Perhaps you do not care, as evidenced by your lack of response.

    Thanks

    Rich Cunrod

I'm confused. A MacCat Ultra is Sil nylon 144"×104" 15.2 oz (430 g) from the web site. what did you expect or did he get wrong?
    YMMV

The McCat Ultra is a 12' x 8'.5" cat cut tarp. And to my knowledge is only being offered in Sil.

What are the measurements of the tarp you received?

Hopefully the problem is solved tho that does not excuse the lack of feedback.

So sad when things like this happen.

What I AM PLEASED TO SEE IS: Adult discussion of the problem. Adult people starting to work through a situation. I am so please that there is POSITIVE idea exchanges going on. Not Nasty childish behavior.

I hope this thread carries on in a useful manner with civilized adult discussion.

If you ordered a silnylon cat cut tarp, and that's what you got, then how did you get cheated? Just trying to understand the issue.

Just a guess, but the other popular item that Brian sells, aside from the MacCat, is a rectangular cat cut tarp, which is listed on his site as "Silnylon Cat Cut Tarp".

So perhaps instead of getting a cat cut sil hex tarp (MacCat) the OP instead received a rectangular sil cat cut tarp.

    Confusing, innit?

    OP

Let's discuss specifics. What differs between the specs on this link http://www.outdoorequipmentsupplier....ccat_tarps.php and the tarp you received?

Took me a minute, but I finally got it. The maccats are all hexagonal.

I've ridden out some crazy storms under my maccat deluxe.
