Do you know by any chance how this compares by weight and capacity to the USMC issued ILBE? I've been thinking of upgrading to something commercialized as long as it could carry plenty of gear and be comfortable.

How about that! I've had my Kelty Coyote for 4 years and didn't know those side pockets had velcro at the bottom. Very useful info...I have a use for that!
