anyone know how the sizing runs on the quilt. They give you info on their sleeping bags which are really nice also but not on the quilt

I don't know the dimensions. I have the large, I am 6'1". It is not quite long enough to truly cover the top of my head when on my side- the very top will be uncovered. Of course, not every one will want to do that any way. It's plenty wide enough. I'm thinking 56" wide, but not sure- def 50 something. The foot box is sewn in and it tapers, it is not rectangular.

the quilt size is wonderful. the loft is exaggerated. significantly.

i am a big tall guy and found that the quilt fit me very well in the hammock.

how so? if the loft is measured as the pic shows on the golite website, attached to a pad that is... it is at least 5"
they measure loft on the quilt just like any other bag company measures loft on a sleeping bag. just to clear up any misconceptions.
there is a general acceptance for temp ratings on loft, and id say 2.5" is pushing a 20° rating claim, but not significantly exaggerated. my 2¢

then again, i have a tq i made that is about 30% overfill and it has only 1.5" baffles, overstuffed to 2". the density of the down takes me down to 20° without worry.
I doubt, however that the Ultra has a 30% overfill
