    Great underquilt, great service

My wife got me a 0 degree Incubator for Christmas this year to join my 20 degree Burrow that I got from Hammock Gear last year. I've been using the Incubator on my Warbonnet Blackbird, mostly just in the basement although I did test it out for a bit a few weeks ago when we got hit with a serious cold spell. It fits the hammock perfectly, and it's nice to have the full coverage and the great suspension that keeps it right where I want it.

I want to give a big shout out to Adam for the customer service. He responded promptly and repeatedly over a few days, and today we met at his shop in Lancaster, OH (which is just a short drive for me). He went above and beyond to make me a satisfied customer today. I'm even more happy with the Incubator now, and more confident that this UQ will keep me toasty warm on my next adventure! Thanks Adam!

    Incubator ) can't wait!

Drchip, I was studying up all the websites of UQs and even checked out a ratings place for quilts, and found, not only was Hammock Gear up there, I was excited to know they are from my favorite home town of all time: Lancaster Ohio! Just down the road from me also!
I called up Adam, yesterday and was inquiring about the "Incubator 20". When I got home, I ordered up the "Inc 0", instead. I can't wait to try it out! Adam was very informative, very personable and this is what I look for with service. Not to mention, keeping money local.
I am rather new to hanging, coming up to my first full year, and I do "trial and error" as I am sure most folks do with new gear. I push my limits to cold camp, and am more successful, so far with tent camping down to 4 degrees, simply because my makeshift underquilt made from a 20 degree sleeping bag ripped out attempting a 17 degree night of hanging. So, I am looking forward to a real underquilt in a few weeks.
