    Amazing Hammocks from Tenth Wonder

    Hi everyone,
I'm new to this forum. I got into Hammocks about a year ago as I live in West Africa now, (from UK originally) and I like being off the ground away from bugs and snakes!

I haven't spotted any info about Tenth Wonder hammocks here on the site though... Please can I introduce them to you now!!!

    http://www.twhammocks.co.uk/Hammocks...mock-White-Net

The service is amazing - customisable on request and they are the best priced on the net!

I've got a Clark, two HH (which are obviously fab as well) and now two Tenth Wonder hammocks. The TW are just awesome. Have a look at the link to their site and if you have questions let me know

    Bye for now,

Looks like a nice roomy hammock with lots of bug protection.

Stumbled across their site a few times. Whilst those really are inexpensive comfy looking hammocks, the weight always chased me off. On the other hand I got the impression quite some members here like to car-camp where the weight issue disappears...
Anyways it's nice to see people share their finds :-)

I'll be honest I haven't actually weighed my TW's but picking up my Hennessy Explorer side by side it's pretty negligible... and $100 bucks lighter in the pocket too
You don't have to include the Alum poles in the pack if you don't want too. You can always use sticks you find at your camp location. I'm happy to take em though as it saves faffing about when you want to hang up fast and just climb in after a long day's hike.

I got one of those in XL size. Mine is the XL Bivi Hornet, and it weighs around 2 kilos...but I can take off the weather shield and save around 800 grams. But I never want to. In summer I rarely carry it more than 2-300 meters as then I car camp. And in winter I use a pulk. Anyway that weather shield can als0o be used as an independent hammock. And since it sort of hangs under the main hammock, I use it to store my gear in.

It is a very comfortable hammock.

But I may get a ligher one as the DD Jungle hammocks are now available here. Only I have grown used to the enourmous TW XL sized hammocks so the Jungle one may be given to my stepson instead, ha ha

You will have to search for info on Tenth Wonder hammocks on the forum but there is some info on them. Not a very popular hammock in the US. I have one and once I swapped out the heavy suspension it came with its not a bad hammock. Similar to the ENOs and GTs
I am still 18 but with 52 years of experience !

I have all tw gear , I'm Aussie so gettin gear out USA is not practical . I have a tarp with doors a storm tarp and jungle hammock which is so warm with it zipped up even snow camping is possible without under quilts and all that stuff as it has extra tarp below it . I also have tw insulated hammock but I find the jungle one better in snow if only I could combine the two hammocks ..

What do you mean swapped out webbing for woopies ?
Do you have woopies threaded through the sleeves at each end ? How is that possible
