AR>Misty Ouachita Trail Section 8 Dayhike(w/video)

Hiking dog and I went and hiked some of section 8 on the Ouachita trail this weekend. It was very misty and rained off and on on us. Orginally were going to make a backpacking trip out of it but changed my mind since we pretty much started out wet and I was worried about the cold moving in early. Trail conditions were pretty good as someone had gotten out there with a chainsaw/saw and done some work before we'd got there. We hiked between the Hwy 7 trailhead and FR132. We stopped by DeSoto park in Hot Springs on the way out to check out the tank as can be seen in the Youtube video.

Fun video dude. That's cool that they make part of the trail wheelchair accessible and I liked seeing your pup running around on the trail too. You should have hung from the tank.
