I also bit the bullet last night. I had thought about sending msg to the mods asking if we could have a thread about cooking and cook sets while hanging? I then saw a post that suggested that there was already one in the members section. That did it for me. I am an alcohol stove DIY addict and do a lot of car camping cooking. I have gained so much from this forum that I didn't mind the small price. I did the $20.00 for two years. No regrets!
Even if we didn't have access to the other information, I think 10$ a year is a very fair price for what we have for free.
Check out the "Without Merit" thread in the "Off Topic" forum. That will keep you busy for a while with many smiles.

I just entered the Dark Side as Pgibson mentions....lurking to much here and learning so much....had to see what I was missing.
