Smile Fronkey's big hike 2014. PNT (WA, ID, MT)

I will be thru-hiking the PNT starting in July and will be passing through Montana, Idaho and Washington. Below are a list of the town I'll be going through and if you live close by it would be fun to meet some other hangers in those states.
    Glacier National Park.
    North Cascade National Park
    Olympic National Park

    Polebridge, Montana
    Eureka, Montana
    Troy, Montana
    Bonner's Ferry, Idaho
    Priest Lake, Idaho
    Metaline Falls, Washington
    Northport, Washington
    Orient, Washington
    Oroville, Washington
    Ross Lake Resort, Washington
    Anacortes, Washington
    Forks, Washington
I also may be going south on the Pct and walking home to Truckee, but I won't make that decision until June.

The Olympic National Park is near me. I'm a short drive to Forks.

Cool Mumbles. It would be fun to meet on the trail. Probably before or after Oylmpic NP though. I will be flying through the National Parks because I can't have Tala in the parks and wan to get out asap so I can pick her up.

As time approaches, let me know the trip plan. I can be persuaded to meet with a resupply kit too.

You should try to connect with Barefoot Jake...he practically owns the ONP! Not a hanger but he's a cool dude. www.barefootjake.com

If I know when you're going to be in the area, I might drive up from PDX and meet up with you somewhere in the ONP. Keep us posted!

I'm going to try and get a cemented plan in place by the end of next month. I wrote you in my notes for the Olympic NP area. I do need help in that area for something and maybe you know someone that could help out being from the area. Thank you.

I think I've heard of him. Thank you.

I should be in that area in August, but I will get a pretty good idea by the end of April. Plus, I will be carrying a SPOT with me and it would be easy enough to find me because I'm keeping it on tracking mode the whole time.

I may be in Portland on my way to Glacier actually. Pockets most likely will be deploying in June and I think I might be driving to Portland to meet with a friend if he has the time and have him drive me to Glacier. Then he drives my car back to Portland and then that's how I get my ride when I'm done with the walk. lol

Thanks man. I'll have a SPOT on me and it would be easy enough to track my progress.

Hope you have a fantastic and safe hike Fronkey. Take lots of pics/vids of your adventure as I'm sure many would love to see them, I know I do.

I have a place halfway between Sandpoint Idaho and Bonners ferry. I drive from pdx to it frequently all summer. Dog friendly.
