    My aqua quest explorer tarp

I bought this tarp for my river trips in my kayak, but it works very well for my hammocks. It is large actual dimensions are 9'8"X12'6". Weight 22oz. I just tried this setup after seeing Shug with his tarp with doors. I connected tie downs not to end but to next ties toward middle then using ends for doors. I know this has been around a while but is new to me. Makes a nice more weather protected for my hammock.

I just ordered one of those tarps last night. I went way big to be able to park my motorcycle underneath while hanging.

Sportsguy. You are gonna like this tarp I have hung mine over hammock long ways, short ways, and diagonal and get great coverage. Will cover my wife and i in two hammocks. Well worth the extra weight. If i fold it i cam get 8 msr pegs, ridge line and tie outs in the bag.

You could "tart" it up even further by adding these to your tarp. Will open up the interior.

Great idea. I have something similar to that but have not thought about using to pull sides out. I was sleeping out in hammock and thinking about sewing pullout tabs on but decided not to. These would work much better
