I was interested till I saw how much it weighed. If it was closer to 10#s i would be go for it.

I tried to do a search for "shooting mat" before I posted but when 500 posts came back with "shoot me a PM" it would take me hours to scan through all of them. I drive a garbage truck for a living and found a really nice thread injector. My wife just laughed at me when I said I want to learn to use it. Maybe I need to watch a few videos and give it a try.

6 1/2 lbs is way too heavy.

...for backpacking. I can see it being good for car camping.
