    New King TQ

I spent the first night in my WL King TQ and was very happy with the warmth. The advertised 15* rating is spot on. The workanship and quality is top tier. I'm moving from a Marmot Lithium for less bulk and easier time with the quilt in the hammock. Never used the hood anyway...... Any hoooo THANKS WILDERNESS LOGICS for such an awesome product and ridiculously fast shipping. I was worried it would not arrive by the third week of March when I'm spending 4 nights in the Upper Buffalo Wilderness Area but quick email dispelled that. Really a return email in the evening less than hour after I sent my question. Excellent

I have one. Plenty of coverage, made to last and does not leak much down. Wildernesslogics does rock.

I have been looking at these and wondering why sometimes I see horizontal baffles and sometimes diagonal. Is there a preference for one or the other or just splitting hairs?

I have some photos of it in use but in failing light or under the flash from Iphone. I'll snap some pics of it next time I have it out. I got mine in black color. It's difficult to express without a picture next to a nalgene for comparison but it doesn't pack super small. More compact than a mummy bag but I don't use the compression sack or stuff sack. It goes down into the bottom of my 50L pack so it fills up every square inch instead of being a hard oblong shape. Then sleep clothes bag, underquilt, hammock, cook kit / food, and tarp. It's a lot of down in that thing and it's roomy and toasty.

I'll be camping with it next month in CO at a lake just below treeline so I should see temps in the low thirties. I'm curious to see how easily it is to vent. I opted for the sewn footbox.

The diagonal baffles are on the summer series quilts - I think Marty just has some photo's mixed up on his site.
