How do you pack your hammock?

I suspect there are about as many options/opinions here as there are about insulation and suspension.

Do you use snake skins? Double-ended stuff sacks? Pack the tarp separately or together? Do you leave UQ/TQ attached, or reattach them every night of the trip? Do you just stuff your whole setup into your pack without a sack (and do you worry about your gear getting damaged)? Do you do something else entirely?

I have an HH (thinking a WBBB will be coming soon...) and use Snake Skins with the tarp and hammock together, packing my insulation separately... but I want to try new things.

Tarp in it's own snakeskins. It gets folded up like an accordion and use the leftover string from the ridgeline to wrap it tight, then into outside back pocket of pack. Hammock gets stuffed in a sack and thrown in compactor bag with insulation. Hammock suspension gets put in its own separate sack and goes into pack not in compactor bag.

Depends on which set up I want to use. if I want the duck hunter camo set up, its packed together. if I want to use one of my tarps, its packed separately from tarp. Don't have snakeskins yet

My tarp goes into a python skin / snake skins. The hammock and tree straps go into a mesh bishop bag. My TQ and UQ both have Cuben Stuff sacks. I tried Slug Tubes but found them to be cumbersome.

Mostly seperates, but I'm a little OCD.
Hammock in double ended stuff, suspension into its own bag, TQ + UG into a roll top dry bag to make sure it stays dry, tarp goes into snakeskins-then into a sack if damp.
Now, packing up from my last outing, it was cold out, so I just shoved the hammock and insulation strait into my pack - it worked out rather well. I might start looking into a lazy slug tube for long mile, multi night trips.

These are great! I think I may get a big LST and see how that goes, leaving my insulation in place.

I've been packing all the components separately. But, I have decided to sew up a Lazy Slug and keep both my quilts and bugnet attached to the hammock. I'll stuff it all, en masse, into my backpack.

The tarp is rolled and tie with a few velcro ties, then stuffed into the front pocket of my pack.

I had snakeskins on my old HH Expedition many moons ago, I don't think I'll ever go back to them though, I didn't like the tight lump I ended up with. Now I use an oversize stuff sack for my tarp and an oversize bishop bag for my hammock, then flatten them out inside my pack. If the tarp is wet when packing away it either goes in the outside mesh pocket on my pack or in the top away from my dry stuff.
UQ & TQ go in their own stuff sacks and go side by side in the bottom of my pack, the first in and last out. I use a pack liner and place my quilts, hammock, clothing, pillow and warm bag in it, it's then scrunched down and everything else gets packed on top of it. I just make sure everything is packed well, anything vulnerable gets sandwiched in between soft items, hard lumpy items like cook kits are packed so they don't stick in my back or put the pack off balance.

I pack the same way for all my trips, I just find it works for me. I can swap quilts, clothing, stove, fuel and warm layers as seasons change but I still know where they are in my pack.
