No time set. We can wait till you get there. Probably 6:00ish.

Hopefully the boss lady (MrsPopper) will let attend. I'm actually off that weekend. It will be my first group hang.

Glad you will finally get to come to a group hang Mr Popper. I'm sorry your other hang didn't work out, but you'll get plenty of chances to view set ups and such at this hang. Not to mention all the vendors that will be there.

As Fall Sprawl approaches, just a reminder of

Palmetto State Hangers Camping Guidelines:

All PSH Members shall observe the rules of the Park, property owner or host.
Public drinking and intoxication will not be permitted.
Absolutely NO drug use of any kind.
Quiet time should be observed at 10pm or in accordance with host or park rules.
Light source use (headlamps, flashlights etc) should be kept to a minimum when in camp as a point of courtesy.
No politics, no religion in order to keep things friendly. (in the group area around the campfire)
Always leave the camping area better than when you left. Practice Leave No Trace when possible.

I'd just like to add to Junebugs post, even if you are not a PSH member we will expect you to follow our guidelines for the hang. We are family friendly, there will be kids around. So language needs to stay appropriate as well. Thank you.

Got permission from MrsPopper. She may even attend. What are the weather conditions like.

I'm looking forward to putting all the knowledge I've gathered and few experiences i have had over the past year and a half to good use and talking to people who actually know what I'm talking about. Most people don't. (Underquilts, topquilts, and the like).

On last years trip that didn't pan out. I was disappointed as well. I hope to try again in October or November. Im gonna start a thread and give it a shot again.
