Hammock Pullout Stretch Cord ?

I know it's been discussed 'somewhere', but heck if I can find it

What size stretch cord would be ok for hammock pullouts? Would 1/8" ok?

Are there differences in quality I should be looking for?

Also, links for where I can get some would be nice !

I use the 1/8" size for my projects. I have found the cheapest place is Ebay. Quest Outfitters is also another good source.

I get shock cord at REI usually. There is a difference in quality. I've ordered online from a couple sources and the tensions varied between sources for the same 1/8 inch diameter cord. You want something with decent tension. Going any thicker than 1/8 inch is probably going to be more tension than you need. I do not recall which source it was but I ended up pitching some in the trash that ordered online because it was cheap and flimsy.
