Another alternative would be BuckSnort Saloon in downtown Sphinx Park. If anyown is offended by a stuffed and mounted deer head then this is not the place for them. The stuffed and mounted deer hind quarters certainly will offend them.

It ain't what you don't know that gets you into trouble. It's what you know for sure that just ain't so.

No that was the S. Platte Bar and Grill.
Zoka's was the place we had dinner right after riding. It was just past where you took the picts of the firefight helos.
Not the best picture but you might remember it was a pretty fancy place out in the middle of no where.

When I was leaving the hills last weekend Zoka's was packed. Looked like the place to be.
So the 10 day forecast is looking pretty good for next weekend. 60/32 10% chance of rain.

Perfect weather for mtn riding. When Flexytoy and me rode it was ~55F We both commented
how nice the temp was for riding. I was wearing shorts, LS silk undershirt and thick cotton tee shirts.
Leather gloves and a bike helmet.
Popped my chain on one of the climbs. Got between gears under power and snap...

Going to be a good weekend I think! Getting very excited! Just received my new HG incubator as well so this has upped my anticipation for this trip!!!!! Looking forward to meeting you all as well!
Me to.
Here's a few more picts that Flexytoy took of our scout trip.
It will either get you guys excited or scare you away. haha!
First leg of the ride is thru an old forest fire burned area.
Then we enter the pine tree forest. Did I mention there would be a bit of Hike-A-Bike.
Riding thru the forest is so kool
Then it can get exciting or terrifying...
Then we hit a second burned area.
The dark green valley off in the distance is the river and where our cars are parked.
Can you spot the last climb of the trip way off in the distance?
Once back to the cars the almost ritualistic celebratory ice cold beer is enjoyed washing away
all the trail dirt and helping to releave those muscle aches and pains.
