Making my own hammock, I need some instructions (pictures) on how to simply tie and/or sew the webbing onto a simple Speer type hammock.
Thanks, I'm a visual learner - I've got to see the pictures. Step by step would be nice.

Grizz just posted a video on the webbing suspension. Can't get much better than that. Check the video library listings.
I may be slow... But I sure am gimpy.

heh. cool videos. Risk's guide is pre the era of hardware. I'm retro, I prefer things simple, heheh. (and cheap..)
So, if you've got the webbing and the hammock and want to connect them NOW, go with Risk's site. If you want cool adjust-ability, go with the video, but you'll need some more gear/equipment.

Thanks for the replies, those were both helpful. I found some really good videos on hammock knots here. I tried the webbing knot and it was exactly what I was looking for.
Anyone else use a knot like this? I haven't seen much discussion about such a knot.
It is simple, removable, neat, and doesn't seem to stress out the webbing.
