My new DIY hammock and stuff

Hi all....made a hammock based on Knotty's stretch-side from 1.8 ripstop. Did that on Friday and tested today. Felt nice....tried various ridgeline lengths and so far 106" feels good. Then decided to add the adjustable bungee cords to the lower left and upper right. Very cool. My suspension is homebrew whoopies MSH'd to the homebrew 1.5" treehuggies. Tarp is store bought and instead of snakes skins, I use elastic hair ties....got that idea from someone on hammock forums, don't remember who....
Now just need to make my CS TQ and CS UQ... I've got the ripstop just waiting on the climashield. Then I'm ready to do the real deal. I haven't camped in a hammock yet and I'm really looking forward to it.

Boulderv7...tnx bro....yeah DIY is fun. Same with my other hobbies....building and using the stuff you've built is very rewarding. I just need to finish the rest of my hammock kit and go camping!! All the best to you and yours....
