Cool, I have been debating getting a new one, I'm starting to miss the Skeeter Beeter part of mine.

I did notice something weird, well, maybe it's weird to me as I have added the structural ridgeline to all of mine: the instructions on the web site & that came with my 2 say to hang it level. if I do that, I end up with my feet hanging 2' out of the end of my hammock in the middle of the night.

So do hammocks without the ridgeline need to hang level? I'll eventually take my ridgeline off & try it someday. Like I said "weird".

I just called customer service Grand Trunk asking the zipper question. the rep said they have always had a double zip on both the pro and UL. the reason I was worried if I order from a discounted site I might end up with the old style single zip. thanks for confirming there are two different styles. and I asked them about camo. it was discontinued a year ago. their website says in stock, but rep confirmed they dont have any. But did say they are updating their website.

I think you will find the both hammocks are almost identiacal in fabric and construction. I would go with the best price.

Check out this discussion on another SBP clone for $25

    RE the UL:
If by "double zip" they mean the slider had a pull on the inside & the outside, then yes. But if "double zip" means two SLIDERS then no. Mine had ONE slider, you could open it or close it from one end only. I think mine is (as stated above) 3 years old. Possibly, the cust service rep is new, so to him/her, 1 year ago is "Always".
If it is Chief Hammock Officer (the owner) you talked to, I'm confoosed.

SO: if you get an old model, it could have just one slider.

The Hybred is bug net free, so has no zipper.

thanks, saw somewhere someone discribed it as tan but wasnt sure.
does it seem to attract the bugs more than black? some people believe that. guess it doesnt matter as long as they on on the outside.

I didn't notice any more critters on the outside at home* as compared to the black netting on my Bayer, & none got inside once I got in & zipped up on either brand.

The zipper on the new SBPro id double zippered. You can zip it up from either end now. I think my netting is kind of a tan color.
