    New Posts vs. Today's Posts - What's the difference

    After the upgrade I have been trying to figure out the lay of the land. Initially I noticed my favorite link/button, "Today's Posts" was no longer available, although I see now that it has been placed under the Odds & Ends tab, so I had to use the New Posts button. That got me thinking, what's the difference in the two? Also, when typing this quesion, the input box far exceeded the width of the page that it was on. I'm not sure if anyone else has experienced this. I'm sure all this required a lot of work, so thanks to those providing their time. If there are new or better features now, I'd love to know about them.
