    For those of you that are old enough. I use my Zero-stat gun (I think that is the name) to eliminate static. It was sold to shoot LP records to aid in cleaning before playing them.

    Those poly "cattle feed" bags are pretty standard for bulk down. This isn't the only site that sells it in those bags. (downlite does too) as well as lodi.

    Once I was down to "scraping the sides" of the bag for down, I cinched off the top of the bag, and took it to the laundromat, ran it through a a dryer with a bunch of dryer sheets on a heatless setting for 10 minutes. Killed off most of the static, and there was no leakage out of the bag (with a downlight bag)

    Your mileage may vary, but they look to be the same type of bag material.

    For those wondering this is what doogie is talking about. We used them for cleaning plates in dark room film developing too.

    Never thought about using it for down though... Great idea!
