Nice job. We are going to order a handful of these tablecloths to make during downtime at work.

I made a couple of these last year; had differing colors for the kids and wife. At the end of summer, my "tablecloth" hammock tore as I sat down. They are fun but I'm not sure about longevity

Nice work. I started out with the 11 tcf in silver then went to the 13 in dark choc brown. I went wild and added quad knotty mods which I think really neatened it up from a profile standpoint.

Don't forget the turquoise, eggplant and purple tablecloth colors! Great colors for my canoe club auction hammocks. I throw in ridgeline, suspension and how-to-tie Becket/Marlin-spike hitch instructions.

c.atrox: 'my "tablecloth" hammock tore' That worries me. Sun exposure? Loaned to a "friend"? Hm.
I also wrote in the instructions: never to jump into the hammock.

    more colors, comments

My coppery color tc and a bit of the turquoise. I am thinking about throwing one in the washer. I found the fabric a little itchy to lie in. Also, I didn't check one of my sheet bend knots and as I was getting in I had my first fall this weekend. Not bad, since I happened to be in a sitting position and had quickly hung it very close to the floor of the porch. The sheet bend knot will hold, but it will also come loose when not under pressure, so it's good to check it.

Nice. I made one the same color for my daughter. I also made a purple, red, burgundy, black, and blue.....come to think of it....I have made about 8 of them. I have a Hennessey i bought when I started. I always seem to use the tablecloth hammocks. Simple, comfortable, and lots of colors.

I have two sage greens (LSD effect) on the way! Making some continuous loops, whoopies now in anticipation. Let's hang!

I have been sleeping in tablecloth hammocks every night for two years. Have a red and silver. I gave the green away to someone helping a friend. Have not had any failures in the material, although I can not say the same for my hanging hardware, but thats a different story. I find them very comfortable but a little heavy for backpacking.

Yea I have that color green one as well, it's not so bad. My other is Eggplant, that one is a nice color, more earthy. My son took that one.
