Here is mine....a happy one)))))) Velcro to hook it on the ridge line. Easy to take off. Sides are partially open to slip things into it from the comfy position in the hammock. It is fairly large so I can fill it.

I would suggest some way to add/remove it without having to disconnect your ridge line - aka snaps, velcro, mitten hooks...etc

I sized my pocket's so they each could hold my kindle. I only needed 2 pockets.

They're pretty easy to make - experiment!

To make it easy to remove, make it like a saddlebag. Just put over the top of RL and let it hang. Both sides can have their own inside and outside pockets.

    Good luck.
Enjoy and have fun with your family, before they have fun without you

I have tied in a Nite Ize gear line organization system. I can use S-beaner's to hang my iPhone lights and a pocket that I made from rip stop nylon. http://www.niteize.com/mobile.asp#/product/GearLine.asp

I made a simple one out of no-see um. Didn't use webbing or grosgrain, just double stitched all seems. I made the two pockets large enough to hold an iPad as I often surf the web at home in my hammock. Also, I use it as a stuff sack - I fold my hammock and whoopies into it when packing up.

Sorry I don't have pics but I made one from leftover noseeum that is saddlebag type but to prevent it from being unbalanced when only one side was filled I added two sets of Velcro, one near each end that make sure it stays on the line but allows me to slide it back and forth on the ridge line as needed.

One side is just an open pocket the other I added extra length to by pleating in fabric at the bottom edge and then top stitching it into three pockets. One is sized to hold my cell (or watch when the cell stays home), another will hold all the stuff that comes out of my pants pockets (pocketknife, etc etc.) and the third holds my headlight.

    Yes, I'm super-organized that way!!

Posted a DIY a while ago with several pictures. But look at post #3 that makes a very helpful suggestion. Also, I suggest a larger cardboard pattern. Now I use a single piece 16x24", and do the folds according to post #3. Here's the link: https://www.hammockforums.net/forum/...ts-of-pictures!
