Welcome to the full-time side! We have Brazilians and love them, but with summer coming and my 10 yo daughter growing out of her single, we decided to try some Mayans. Sometimes the Brazilians can be a little warm when it's hot. We are fine if we use the A/C, but I'm thinking we may use it less with the Mayans because they have an open weave. Seaside hammocks is offering "two-fers" right now on several of their sizes. We are going to pick up a couple of queen size to check out. Supposedly, they are even more comfortable than the Brazilians. I can let you know once we've checked them out.

Don't get me wrong I do love sleeping in my hammock, but I don't think I could give up my temperpedic bed to go to a hammock full time. All the power to you guys it just isn't for me.

Just coming back to this. We did get the Mayans and I'll be honest, not my thing. My 11yo LOVES hers more than any of the other hammocks we have tried. I'm still very partial to my Brazilian (as others have mentioned)! I feel like it's the most comfortable out of the ones we have tried. At some point I plan to make a tablecloth hammock or two, but I don't think I will like them as much as the Brazilians.

And I've switched hammocks. The wife said no more red. So I got a white 156"x90". Longer is better.
So how do you like the 90 x 156. I have one on it's way right now and wondered if I should have gotten the 60 x 132. I am 6'2" and 265#

I love it. I could do with narrower. But I'm not carrying it in my pack so extra isn't a big deal. Plus I lose a little length with the way I connected the dogbones to the hammock. Maybe 6" on each end.
