Louisiana hanger here

Just wanted to say hello! I have been lurking for quite a while and I figured it was time to jump in.

I am in southeast Louisiana so not sleeping on the ground got me into hammocks a while back and now that my oldest (5) is old enough to go out and enjoy camping I have been really getting into getting my setup perfected.

Currently I am using an Eno Double Nest, Dry Fly, and Guardian Bug Net. Suspension is a work in progress lol as always.

Anyway wanted to thank everyone for all of the great advice.

Greetings from central MS. Always good to have someone else around who knows how to fend off skeeters with a bat. I'm running a similar setup as you, and matter of fact my youngest son just turned had his 6th birthday. Yeah he got a starter rig of course. Anywho, we hang pretty regularly so maybe we'll see you in the wild sometime soon. Until then, may your straps be strong and your naps be longer.
