Cool Which company to buy from jacks or hg or war bonnet ( top quilt

I'm trying to figure out which brand to buy my top quilt from? I'm looking to hike the trails up on blood mtn this spring. I want the lightest gear to carry. I already use a hg hammock, just need to keep warm.

    Thanks
    Scorpio dude

Try to look at their pics on the website and compare that to price and options that fit your budget. For me 850 goose down and color choice was a big deal. I pimped out my TQ w all of the options. 3 ounces of overstuff, paid more for 78 inches, I wanted to be able to pull the TQ up over my head on a cold night. I paid more for a wider cut 55 vs 50. It was more expensive then mu UQ but I have no regrets. My feeling on the hammock stuff is to get the best that u can afford and not look back.

I think the Jacks are having a sale right now on quilts. Their quality is top notch, but so are the other cottage vendors.

Both great sources, as mentioned look at the specs, make a choice and don't look back.

I can only echo what others have said. Pull products specs from all the vendors, call them if you have questions, and finally compare pricing. Me? I have Jacks products that I purchased on sale...and as luck would have it JRB is having a sale on quilts right now

You could always come to the Raven Cliffs hang this weekend and see them in person to help you decide. I know I'll be rocking the Jacks and HG, and I'm sure someone there will have the other one you're interested in, and some you may not know you're interested in.

Where did you get a hammock gear hammock??

I believe enlightened equipment make the lightest quilts (but you'll pay more for them) followed by hg.

Underground quilts are worth checking out too.

    Only you can decide...

I recently got a HG top quilt long/wide 20* and really like it. It weighs 21oz on my scale. Top notch stuff they are doing over there.
