Best way to make two tarp together.

I want to get my wife in a hammock this summer. I use a wbrr and was planning on having her use my Clark nx150. However I would like to put both hammocks under the same tarp so we can hang side by side. My concern is that water will come right in between. Any thoughts?

Grip Clips, put them together like shingles on a house (up hill on top) so water will run off and not under.
