    Weighed my stuff

    All weights include suspension and stuff bag. Whoopie slings, amsteel ridgelines, eno with atlas straps and original suspension.

    Wow, if that's true it certainly beats the old tent setups. I could even see myself going for a week with just a few other extras.

    You also need to add the tarp and bugnet weights for a fair comparison. Not saying that you can't get a lighter weight or a setup that is equal in weight you just need to count everything needed to supply the same amount of protection. Also the stakes for the tarp need to be added as does the stakes for the tent. Just saying not apples to apples without everything included.

    Is your 1.9 hammock a double layer? It seems to be about 7 oz heavier than it should be assuming the fabric weight is correct and it is approximately 60" wide.

    Tarp weight included ridgeline, 8 stakes and 6 tie outs I use no weights.

    Single layer, weight is with straps, whoopie slings
