This forum runs on vbulletin, right?

I just changed ISPs from Earthlink to Verizon. Another forum I read has a big note on the control panel page where I was changing my e-mail address that said you could NOT use a verizon.net address because bulletin wouldn't work properly with their network.

    Any problems with verizon.net here?

    No problems here.

I get all my notifications - haven't gotten one since the upgrade but I only get sent notifications for PMs.

You *should* have no problems but I can't guarantee Verizion's SPAM filter isn't over-aggressive.

No, over-aggressive would be their telemarketers, upgrade marketers, salesman, text push adds, price hikes, bloatware, pricing scheme, overcharges, dubious 'tax and fees' charges, etc.....

    from a "satisfied" customer.

I wish I had aggressive spam filters. Even if they sifted out most of my real emails. Years ago I used earthlink. That was the best spam filtering I have ever used.
Not that this is what the op was asking but I always tell people to get a none isp specific email. I see people change from one isp to the other and then have to change all there addresses. If you get a gmail, yahoo, hotmail and so on, you keep your email regardless of who you pay to get online with.
One last tip. Dont use any personal info in your address. I see way to many people with [email protected]. that gives me your initials, and dob. Google search gets me an address and possibly other info like place of birth and I can social engineer my way into your account. Again not what the op asked but I hope good info.

You're under no obligation to use your ISP's domain email service. Just simply signup to one of the eleventy billion other services. Gmail, Outlook etc etc etc.
