    Golite/Mountain Hardwear

    FOR SALE:

    * Golite Stride shorts. Men's size XL, color: black. NEW/NEVER WORN. These have been in my closet since buying them in 2006 (guess they are now considered "old school" Golite).

    http://www.backcountry.com/golite-stride-short-mens

$25.00 shipped cont. US, plus Paypal fees (3.5%?)/OBO.

    * Mountain Hardwear Compressor Insulated Pants. Size XL, color black. Insulated with Primaloft, not the cheap Thermic-Micro that they are using now. I used these pants once, and walked into a snow covered blackberry bush and snagged the fabric in a few places. I repaired the pin holes with McNett fabric tape and have never used the pants since. No loss of function at all, just purely cosmetic. Comes with Mtn. Hardwear Compressor pants stuff sack (never used).

$85.00 shipped cont. US, plus Paypal fees (3.5%?)/OBO.

Shoot me a PM or contact me at [email protected]

    Thanks!

Do the shorts have a string to tighten them?

Those are truly awesome pants, primaloft if I recall. I used a pair for years in Alaska , finally blew out a zipper and Mntn. Hardware replaced it for free. The lightest warmest cheapest way to stay warm below the waist that I know of. Just an unsolicited endorsement...

What waist size do the shorts fit normally do you know? Also is the PayPal fee on top of the listed price or is everything priced for the price needed to be paid.

I am a BIG fan of old school Golite stuff. I have been using their stuff since 1998 and have all their early catalogs. I stopped buying most of their stuff in 2006, when they started adding weight. My 2005 catalog says men's size XL Stride shorts are 37"--42" at the waist, and 5 ounces. As for the pricing, it's the listed price plus buyer pays Paypal fees (3.5%?).
