I dont think I understand what your problem is? But i had an issue yesterday and was getting quite angry at my new(old) machine. Eventually I figured out that I had threaded the bobbin incorrectly. Once I did that everything was gravy. And i was about to tear apart the tension knob on the front and try and adjust things and put it back together to see if that helped. Sometimes just making sure everything is in its place goes a long way.
I did a quick google search and BAM.... heres the manual.....

There you go, scroll down to the comments and there is a pdf. Hope this helps get to know your machine, I read my manuel front to back before i started playing with my Singer 201-2 from the 1940's. And I still have problems, from time to time.
On a side note and the real reason I clicked on this thread. I dont know if it says Toyota on the machine anywhere. But if it were me I would scrap off the TO and the TA and the front and back so the machine just said YO. Like the truck from Toy Story.
Try this link.
Make sure the machine is threaded correctly, the needle is turned the correct direction, etc.
Then increase the upper thread tension.
many many thanks ive just found out that it will embroider and over lock not bad for free.
you can get all kinds of user manual of sewing machine at geminy
