I bought a double layer hammock in Cambodia that i assumed was designed so i could sleep in between the layers.It worked great for bugs, light rain, and light wind. i only read about putting pads in between layers. does anyone use or have you seen this type of hammock for sale for this purpose?

I've never heard of sleeping between the layers.Of course, I've never been to Cambodia either.
DD Hammocks names one of the features of their Frontline hammock is the ability to sleep between the layers. When I owned one I never tried it. I suppose if your hammock does not have a bug screen it might be useful.

I have seen the DD hammock show someone sleeping between the layers. I have used a pad between the layers and it helps the pad to stay in place much better. Putting a pad in the hammock on top, it slides whenever you turn or move.

I would like to see this Cambodian double layer hammock. Can you post up pictures both of it hanging normally and the space between the layers?
