I think it is cool, and would love to have one hanging with a view over a lake or stream or the ocean. I am a hammock addict.
Wonder how you would cover the hole in the bottom in bug season???? Also, no netting.It's buggy here in SC most of the year.

It's interesting. But I honestly wouldn't consider it for anything other than the back yard. I like the gear bag more.
Just thinking out loud here but let's say my diy huge tc factory 13 footer. If i left the foot end or either end left bunched would become the foot end. And i separate the two corners of the opposite end and do two separate gathers and whips it would become a triple hammock. If I find 3 trees great if only two then pull it back in and go that way. A convertible. Anyone else think about it that way?
