Kick *** or UGQ for a DH?

So my Dream Hammock is at least a month away from arrival (probably longer) but I've decided to start looking into getting a 3-season UQ for it.

I live up in the Rockies - town is 8,000ft and most of the hanging I will doing will be around 9,000 ft or higher. So it gets chilly at night. I'm looking for a 20'f - 30'f rated UQ. I think 40'F would work for the summer, but temps at that elevation can still hit the freezing point even in June/July. I'd feel better in a 20'F since it will keep my warmer on those cold nights.

Ideally it'd be in Multicam as well to match my DH.

Underground Quilts seem to be designed for a DH, but are more expensive - upwards of $50 - compared to a similar Kick *** quilt. So is the obvious answer to go with Kick ***, or with the UQ designed for my hammock?

Down will last longer, is lighter, warmer, and I would personally prefer it, but right now i use a KAQ jarbidge. But that's just my 2 cents

I have both. For you living in Colorado and knowing that u will drop down into the low 20's I'm recommending Underground quilts. But make sure u get the 20 degree UQ and not the 40 as u can vent the 20 on a warmer day if u need to. I just posted a video review of the kick *** quilt in the arrowhead equipment sub section if your interested.

I have a KAQ new river, very warm, almost too warm for summer. spring and fall it is good for damp weather, but heavy and doesn't compress very small. down will be much smaller and lighter. KAQ makes a great product.

I say UGQ. I have a winter and a 3 season(ordered) but they even have hook attachments for the dream hammocks.

Right - I noticed the hooks and the fact that they advertise DH on their website. I figure (after my Winter Hang experience) I'll be doing most of my hanging during the spring/summer/fall and the temps higher up can certainly drop.

    team work

I have a Dream Hammock and Undergroundquilts underquilts. I am a cold sleeper. The Fit has been great. UGQ will add the mod for dream hammocks pack hooks. I like the fact they are working together to provide a better customer experience (IMO)

Nice setup - mine will eventually look like that with the DH and planned UQ I want to get. Looks like a multicam Superfly as well?
