Medicine Man and Ninja 11th Anniversary Hike (Section 3 of 3) Sam's Gap-Hot Springs

This was a hike to celebrate my 11th year since my thru hike. Section 3 of 3 was our longest section at 43.5 miles, so we gave ourselves from Friday to Monday this time. It was the connecting piece to our last two hikes, and it was epic! To save weight (and keep morale high) we made 3 beer drops on our shuttle up to Sam's Gap. This is a pretty sweet section. A lot of ridge walks with awesome views, as well as plenty of landmarks. The part that made it epic was finishing in Hot Springs with new clothes from Bluff Mtn Outfitters, a hot shower at Elmer's, and a beer and burger from Spring Creek Tavern.

Hey MM, I was just a head of you. I got back Wed. from doing part of this section. Hit the hot springs and Spring Creek Tavern too. We started at Devils Fork Gap instead of Sam's Gap.

Cool CT! You didn't miss much north of Devils Fork. The highlight for me was the exposed ridgeline just north of blackstack cliffs
