LD Cakes Extenders don't function properly

I recently had a chance to try out my travel sock extenders on my 11 foot gathered end and they don't work, at least not when my underquilt is installed. When i get the zipper closed my underquilt is compresses so much that it doesn't retain any warmth. I had pretty much the same result when i tried my inflatable pad installed as well. When i tried it with out the underquilt or pad installed the zipper was still very tough to get closed. When i did get it closed i was right on top of the sock.

    I'm using a 11 foot Simply Light with a 83% ridgeline.

If you plan on using this without any bottom insulation i guess it might work ok, but you can forget about any kind room for insulation

I would also confirm all measurements, i.e. hammock and ridgeline length, etc., just to be sure the assumptions are correct. Also, what is the girth of your sock/net?

Standard Warbonnet wind sock and Simply Light 11 foot tree runner. Confirmed ridge already. Can't really get a picture as I have to be in the hammock to recreate the issue.

I have a fixed zing it ridge on it now, but I tried an adjustable at shorter and longer with different results. When it was set longer the hammock was too long and the extenders wouldn't fit due to the extra length. With the ridge set shorter I couldn't close the zipper at all because the sag was too low.

Can you please tell me in inches what your ridge is? I'm puzzled why you dont have any room under the hammock. Is it possible you have your hammock stretched out too tight with not enough sag?
If you can take a picture that will help too.

Could the hammock be one of Jared's 12 footers? Grabbing at straws here

Not sure if it makes a difference, but is a cat cut streamliner 11 foot with 109 inch ridge. I have the typical flex in the ridge when I'm sitting in it.

I would think that the hammock being stretched too much would help with this situation.
