I turned my Undercover into a rain cover for my JRB underquilt. But I have a barely used pad if anybody would like it.

    btourer,

doesn't the SS compress the underquilt? Did you have to modify the SS to get it to hang loosly enough?

I believe Hawkeye went the underquilt route. I think a six pack of Corona Extra and shipping should cover it. Thats ten bucks. PM me your address and I'll get it out to you. It's taking up valueable gear space in my closet.

I modified the ends of the SS so it covers the ends of the quilt with the loops sticking out. I put the side loops of the quilt thru the holes in the SS. Being attached to only the quilt it hangs loosely on it. But it's sil, so I only put it on in heavy storms. I'm thinking of putting some closeable slits in the bottom for venting.
