Interesting hot cutter

I ran into this ad in a vendor I use for other hobbies. Looks like a decent deal on a hot knife that would be good for nylon and dyneema:

I was just using mine moments ago... I don't love it. It does ok for cutting grosgrain etc but it doesn't transfer heat very well to the cutting tip, so if you're doing a cut that's much wider than a piece of grosgrain too much heat goes out of the tip and it labors to cut, I end up "sawing" thru fabric with it.

Thanks for the review, because they make it sound like the thing to have. I'll keep my regular Weller soldering gun. Like GMCTTR was saying a while back on a similar thread-there's no substitute for mass when it comes to holding heat at the tip.
