Spoke too soon...... Mailman just brought mine. It is amazing and very easy to set up. No dialing in its always ready. My sons and I will be busy testing for awhile ;-)

I got mine, so a great birthday present.

I set it up, but I am not sure how I feel about it yet. I used my thermarest, and it doesn't seem to be thick enough to provide the structure the hammock needs. My thermarest is only 1.5" thick and it was fully inflated, which is the opposite of how you use one in a normal hammock.

I think I will need a pad that is at least 2.5 - 3" thick. The Amok hammock requires a sturdy pad to give it structure, so it doesn't bunch up when you move around. I do like the ability to sit up and recline in it. I am not happy about having to buy another pad. My friend is going to bring her thicker pad over so we can check it out.
That is just my initial thoughts on it. I'm not ready to sell it.
