How do I keep my foam foot pad in place?

I've been sleeping well in my new BBXLC with a yeti, but it's single layer. I often wake up with cold feet because my small foam pad slips out from under the lower legs. Is my pad too big maybe? It is 20" by 40" roughly, or does anybody else have an idea? I just bought a BB double layer to try so I'll know if that's much better, but there must be some good ideas for SL's out there. Thank you

Like Shug showed in one of his videos, I place the pad inside the footbox of my top quilt.

Yep, inside the top quilt's footbox. Mine is cut like "home plate" of a baseball field with all the 90* corners clipped back a couple of inches.
Since I have wearable top quilts, the bottom hem has omni-tape. I glue omni-tape to the bottom edge of my pad also, to marry up with the quilt.

    Me too! Easy to do.

Guess I better rewatch some shug videos...no top quilt yet, but should work fine in the foot of my bag...obviously my foam is WAY too big. Also, usually my yeti is tight and great, but last night seemed to sag and get cold shoulder. Is it likely too tight, too loose, or just mess around til it's right? The only downside I've found to my BB XLC is I can't reach around the right side to feel my UQ. My 4 year old daughter sleeping next to me in a RR had optimistically put about 15 childrens books in the shelf as well which may have caused it to sag and pull away.

    A nice problem to have.

50% of the best problem I've ever had, the other 50% being her 3 year old sister. Hammocks have turned out to have an absolutely mesmerizing effect on them.

Sure enough, inside the TQ. The pad is an inflateable pad, lightly inflated, and it curves inside the TQ and stays put.

If the UQ is sagging in cold weather W/O books in it , It needs to be a little tighter. Shock cord doesn't bounce back as well in cold.
Enjoy and have fun with your family, before they have fun without you

Leave it at home, and buy a full length UQ! Never been able to make it work.

Are you using a sleeping bag as a top quilt? Usually, you can slide it into the bottom of the bag OR try using binder clips. I use 2 medium binder clips to hold my Reflectix pad in place.
