Hello all, I hope everyone is well.
I will be taking an overnight canoe trip this coming weekend and I am thinking of trying something different. I usually use my Warbonnet yeti for my WBBB XLC and I stay really warm. I was looking on craigslist and found a new Alps Mountaineering Comfort Series sleeping pad, the guy was asking $40. I do not need another pad as I have 3, so I am not sure why I emailed the guy and told him I would give him $20, he accepted.
The pad is really nice and it has the little rubbery, sticky dots on the bottom of it so it will stay in place. I stuck it into the double layer BB today and I really like how it opens up the hammock, not to mention it was really comfy.
So, I'm thinking of leaving the yeti at home this trip. Temps are supposed to be 75 degrees during the day and a low of 55 degrees for the night. The pad should do just fine right? I would not want to use the pad and the UQ together right? What do you guys think?
